I though with precious metal, that chrono was reasonable but if you go on the secondary, Breguets with enamel dials and hand finished chronographs are priced at $26,000. So, it may be over priced, certainly not an attractive price for the package. Can it be improved, may be an exotic dial or more complex case, even at that. Price may need reconsideration.

Manufacturer starts putting date window at 1:30 or 4:00 etc happens when they are trying to cram too many complications onto the dial. Looks terrible IMO. 6 o'clock or don't bother. Cheers 😅

I ordered the no date several weeks ago, i didn’t feel it was a Rolex homage, my Steinhart OVM has more of that vibe. Can’t wait to wear it, it will take its place next to my Breitling Super Ocean.

Citizen for the win yet again.. they are on such a roll lately, but the thickness is a little off-putting, and the date is a little weird , bit the positives out way the negatives imo. My watch was purchased 2 years ago from amzwatch and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the amzwatch has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.

That's why you folks don't appreciate the Neo Kung Orienta. But in reality, it's rather baffling to generalize it as a "Seagull inspired watch made by a Chinese company and selling for $40k". It is a highly finished and modified handwound chronograph movement in a platinum case, made by an independent watchmaker(regardless of what the origin of country is). Most if not all of its parts were handmade by that same watchmaker. It is also absolutely silly to say that "Rolex/AP can charge that amount of money but not other watch brands because R/AP are more recognized". Independent watchmakers like Philippe Dufour, FPJ, Kari Voutilainen, etc., are charging more for their watches all the time, and people who can actually afford them, pay for them. Yeah I know you folks don't appreciate something like that, and that's okay. It's not like you can afford it anyway😂

You can get a good watch directly from Sea-Gull for a little more than 100 dollar. Not a chronograph, but precisely the better for that reason.

Neo Kung is a scam preying on the uninformed. Platinum is a cheap metal -- less then half the price of gold. Platinum is also much easier to work with than tantalum or even titanium. The Venus chronograph movement is old and outdated. On the bright side, the dog is back gracing the background of the video.

Tag does not have the patent on square watches for the union to be a square watch there's nothing wrong with it I personally love square watches. When you do the split window the way the Monaco is done and the way the union is done yeah your borderline almost infringement here. However a Monaco cost you roughly $8,100 retail I'm not sure what the union cost if it's more or if it's less it could be that someone like myself who loves the Monaco and who actually owned one at one time and like an idiot got rid of it. Once one but doesn't want to quite pay $8,100 for it who knows I personally love them The Bell and Ross the Hublot the any of those square watches I absolutely love

No one has disputed me that Automatic Chronographs are useless. You can do better with a $20 Casio or your smartphone. It’s a useless complication. A vintage chrono sure a modern chrono not needed not I know anyone that uses one.

Thank you for the nice video, you have done a thorough review and highlighted some interesting points. I have been thinking about getting one of their watches, I like the design and execution, the logo and the tungsten bezels. Also, the watches are not generic and they like to experiment with designs and materials. Last but not least I don't need to pay customs duties 😊 I really like this watch, but I think 42 mm is too much for me.

4:16 Taking your watch to RSC would have that misaligned insert fixed in about 15 minutes, free of charge. The insert just wasn't popped into the bezel ring correctly. The idea of returning a 16710 over that issue is ridiculous. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this video and hearing your perspective on the 16710. 12:26 It's my grail too. And achieving your grail, I find, is very freeing.

Why didnt they put the spring drive at the 6 o'clock position in a full arch. It would have looked so much better. Lose the date as it's not needed. The bracelet is its shortfall..

Nice piece and good review. I never really understood why watch manufactures still have high polish on bracelet clasps. I appreciate this is more on the dressy than tool side but brushed is always the better option to go with in my honest opinion (end rant 😆).

I do like the fact that’s it’s a different. In a world awash with generic dive watches this looks good. I’ve seen reviews for a few Veneziano watches but this is the first I’ve seen that I would consider buying. I see they are launching a blue dial version which is selling at 627 euro. I’d like to see a review on that if you can? Thanks
